The sky has changed in Myanmar since Feb 1, when Aung San Suu Kyi was detained by the military as they seized control.
Troops were then patrolling the streets and a night-time curfew was in force, with a one-year state of emergency declared.
The military chief, Min Aung Hlaing, who’s in charge of the coup was supposed to retire this year. Seems like it’s not yet time for him to retire after all.
According to various sources, at least 149 people have been killed in Myanmar since the 1 February coup. However, in the same period of time, the death toll of covid 19 seems to decrease on the other hand.
