Haiti president, Jovenel Moïse, was killed in an attack on his own residence on the 7th of July according to the country’s acting Prime Minister, who has declared a state of seige in the country.
This incident has added more uncertainties to the political turmoil of this Caribbean country.
Haiti is one of Taiwan’s allies in the central America and Taiwan’s president Tsai has offered her condolences on the death of the president of our Caribbean ally.
